I began this blog at the end of March, 2012. At that time, I just liked to read other people’s blogs. There was a “Like” button on their blogs and I wanted to click it to show them that I appreciated their blog article. But in order to “Like” another’s blog, you must have a Word Press account. So I made an account. So I could press the “Like” button.

Then I thought maybe blogging would be fun. I had some interests. I could create some articles. And so I did. No joke.

Back then I had one reader – my friend, Mike. Thanks Mike!

My “real” 3D name is Shannon. Nice to meet you! My 3D  j.o.b. is Neonatal Nursing. The best job ever! I am a single mom of a teenage daughter (ack!).

My interest is in finding ways to take a peek “beyond the veil”. I think that we are multidimensional beings and that by researching what lies in other times and dimensions, we can discover more about ourselves and our lives right here and now, and possibly the future, as well.

I would like to send out a big thanks to all my readers who have joined me in this journey of discovery, and to all the people who’s stories I have shared here.

        • That is so wonderful to hear, Faith! I had another site, but I gave that one up about a year and a half ago. I felt a clear message to concentrate solely on this one. When one spreads themselves too thin, we end up not being able to do our best job on any one thing.

          There are, though, over 700 posts here. I hope that’ll take you a little while to get through 🙂

  2. I just found your blog and read about your NDE. I know that what you say is true and while I am not “there” yet, I will be. In the meantime, one of the things i read answered a Question I had to which I was seeking the answer. Thank you! I will be back – regularly. Now I’m going to hang out here for a bit and read some of your other stuff. BTW, if I can provide you with any suggestions on quantum physics books, and especially how they tie into the perceived “non-scientific” aspects of unity etc, I’m happy to give you a list of what I’ve been reading – email me for that, or any reason, if you like.   4. Shannon, how do you catch the flies? I only kill them because I can’t catch them. Although yesterday I opened the porch door and asked one to please leave / the back door was open for it, and out it flew. I’m working on getting the love for the uber creepy spiders in my basement that work their way upstairs. Everything else I put outside. These are the two hypocrisies in my acknowledgement of unity but I’ve been rationalizing them. Any fly-catching advice?

  5. The divinity of insects….something to ponder! If God created all life from Him/Her/itself, as well as everything else, then insects would be part of the unity. There were two posts I read here – one lady said she remembered when she was x, x, an insect, x etc. (A list, I can only remember insect!) And then one guy posted something about 3 rules, which would seem to include insects also. In CwG, God says to Neale Donald Walsh something that indicates this as well. It’s a challenge you know? Those basement spiders are creepy and I’m not too fond of the silverfish or whatever they are when it rains either. It’s sort of like: “Okay, I believe in unity so I won’t kill these, these or these, but these OTHER ones I don’t like so buh-bye!”

    One of my friends who’s a pantheist/pagan came over today. We saw a deer wander into my back yard. I’ve lived here 15 years and never seen one there! She said it was her and animals, and that someone once suggested to her that she do a specific ritual thing to draw animals that involves laying down in the forest or something, and she said “No way! I’m going to get all the spiders and snakes and skunks too – and then what?”

        • Sweet! I think a lot of people really resonate with NDE stories. And my theory is because it’s the truth. There are many NDE stories here.

          My story is an OBE and it’s titled (I think) “My OBE”. It’s really not nearly as good as the other ones I’ve shared here – but since I did share other people’s experiences, I thought I should share mine, too! 🙂

    A small query. When there is so much joy and peace in the spiritual realm why do the souls opt to come back on the earth again and again and suffer?

    • Wow! I would say that’s a pretty big question! I think the most common reason people come back here is because when they were on the other side they were shown that they had a “mission” or a “plan” to fulfill while they were here. And if they have crossed over too early then they are shown that they haven’t done what they’ve set out to do. The other reason people come back is because they know they have loved ones here that will need them (like children, for example). So those are the two most common reasons 🙂

      • Or – are you talking about Reincarnation? Why do people choose to come back here for more lives? I think the reason is to a) balance karma, b) a special mission, and/or c) as a favor to someone else (in their soul group, for example).

    • Hi Chetan and Angelic,

      I was just browsing through this, I hope you don’t mind me chiming in, I’d like to offer an answer (I read the Akashic records).

      Apart from karmic reasons that tie us up to this realm, the core, raw reason why Souls would want to come to Earth, is the exact same reason why anyone would want to ride a roller coaster. It’s extremely intense and exhilarating while it lasts, and you can’t really have this kind of experience on another plane. What makes it so intense is precisely the fact that this reality is so harsh and unforgiving. Yet, paradoxically, 80 years for Spirit is but a blink of an eye.

      I wrote the first note in this page, and I’d like to add to the congratulations to Angelic for the blog having come such a long way.

        So strange – but I believe you. I have seen people write that same thing in their NDE stories. What is so strange is that I feel (from my point of view) that it’s the OTHER side of the veil that seems so exhilarating and intense! But when you’re over there – I guess it’s like “meh”… been there and done that from the beginning of time. And over there, you KNOW for a fact that nothing can hurt you or “kill” you. Where here, it’s all a mystery. And I suppose that’s part of the fun 🙂

        • When you leave here, and you were living in a situation of conditioning, suffering, limitation, or otherwise not really being yourself and spending your energy on things that don’t really reflect you, the contrast with Spirit is very large, and then you get the accounts of everything being made of bliss, peace, and Love. It’s indeed completely true – but it’s perhaps an account from an individual who hadn’t really known it in his skin while living here. Life can capture you and keep you trapped for a no end of lifetimes.

          When you do step into your Essence, and you get to experience the magic *here*, then while the release of death (or NDE, or a peak experience) is always a liberation, it’s not as different, you already know what’s it about. You were already connected, in tune, here, with yourself, with your own skin, and with your connection to Spirit.

          In part, one thing we’re doing here is learning how to bring the qualities of Spirit into matter. Although that’s extremely tricky and arduous, it raises the energy of matter herself – ultimately shifting it in D’s (3D -> 4D -> 5D etc), but also, more importantly, it’s as if it solidifies your Soul, your Spirit, it provides a Spiritual structure and definition, in a good way, to your beingness, that is never lost, it’s done for all eternity. You’re no longer a fluffy, naive Angel; you’re now You. And I think that’s one part of the wonder of coming to places like this. In a way, it’s a little like a compulsion, if you will. Like going through the roller-coaster over and over.

  16. T recently read an article from an NDEer about “Love” being the purpose of life… I think that this should be qualified as “Unconditional Love”. Most of us have experienced Conditional love based on; I love if…. or I love you when… and it should be I Love you always…JK

Just posted lifting the veil… Never new you had peeking behind the veil on your post…My husbands sister passed away tonight..unexpectedly in her sleep..She helped us lift the veil to reach her right after it happened…I feel blessed to go on her journey to the other side ..to experience the eternal…ageless timeless without me leaving my body…as we connected our hearts to give my husband and I a peak…I am asking her to visit me in my sleep tonight..I will keep you posted. .i get visits from those i love that past… yet never got to cross over with them before….I think this is a sign of merging the dimensions..as I never really think the spirit of her heart leave and will live with us forever… looking forward to see what may come next… Heart to heart Robyn…We both feel so peaceful about her passing…she was never ill…yet had body pain for years…and we feel happy for her!….

    • Wow! What an amazing experience. I am curious about what you say – that you were able to “cross over with them”. Did this happen at the time of death? What did you see? I have heard of these accounts and they sound fascinating! I’m also so glad to hear that you are genuinely happy for her. Between you and me, I’ve never had anyone really close to me die before. Just grandparents (who were close, but they were elderly and ready to go on). I was happy for them – genuinely. I hope I could be the same way with someone who has had an untimely death.

      • Shannon…Yes Renate came to me…she told me she was going to guide the family…Birds came and surrounded my car as I got the news…I was driving on the west side of Maui ( a beautiful ocean drive)and it was as if I entered into a complete extra “senses” experience..everything became super clear as if I could see through things…I could also hear as if a complete silence was around me..yet could hear the birds sing as if they were on my lap…then I felt like I was floating…my 3rd eye driving the car…..yet I felt grounded..I have had this experience before…yet this lasted…with a feeling of complete PEACE…as if heaven was real and the rest was a complete dream…I can only think of the multi dimensional picture I once saw of an overlay over the earth with only a veil separating the dimensions…I have never been able to function as if nothing changed when I have left my body before…this time it was as if she entered my being…She told me at night when I went to sleep I was with her automatically…that i no longer had to close my eyes to reach her…she said the veil has been lifted..

        .I will continue to write about this on my posts…as I am a different person..my experience is totally new now…

I am not sure how they keep everyone straight to pick the winner, but I sure learned so much about the persons behind the blogs I like and you are definitely an inspiration!   27. Hi, I had a experience one night while going to sleep. A voice came to me and said,” Someone loves you Bendy, but you have to hurry and get your door straight”. I was so scared I wouldn’t even open my eyes. Then whoever it was sent a almost electric feeling across the bottom back of my head and asked, ” do you hear me”? I didn’t move. So it sent that feeling and asked again. I shook my head yes and it went away. My door was not very secure but needless to say, it is now! Just wondered if you have a little insight on this. I loved reading these!

Someone else asked you for permission, and you said yes, but that you simply get your photos from the net. I can’t use a net photo without permission from the photographer or the photo owner. Are there a few websites where you find these photos that you can direct me to so I can inquire about their use? Thanks for any insights!

And I think I have used two of his works. That’s my friend, Bill. Most of the GIF images come from headlikeanorange.com, as cited. The rest are all Google searched. I wish I could help more. If you go to Deviantart.com you can find lots of awesome images there with the artists’ contact information so that you can ask them permission. I hope that helps you out. 🙂 Perhaps once your book comes out you could drop a link to it here for us?

  42. Shannon. I too write & so tried to start a blog but have no clue what I’m doing or how to work some of this technology. Don’t know if u can help me or know someone who can do for me to set up. I wud appreciate the help. I write life lessons about how to take everyday life and signs we ignore & put into practice in our busy life.
