I have a New Blog. What should I do with it?

Hello all my friends! I am writing to you today to ask for your opinion on something. I want to know what Me6you think I should do.

I was driving in my car about a week ago and I was singing nice and loud to a song that was inspiring, and lo’ and behold, I got the “goosebumps”. Then a thought comes to my mind that I should pay really special attention to that feeling. That feeling is only felt in a 3d physical body. It is one of the ‘special’ feelings we can only get by incarnating as a human.

No, really! πŸ˜‰

Anyway, after that… I decided that I wanted to give the gift of the “goosebumps” to others. That’s when I created “AngelicView’s Inspirations” blog. It is filled with nothing but goosebump-inducing content. Hard-core inspirational stuff, right?

My thought was that by making a separate site just for that, I could draw the people who love stuff like that (and not necessarily the subjects that are on this one ((like anybody would NOT like this stuff – come on people!!))). But it’s going to take time to get readership going over there. Where here, at AngelicView, I already have a big readership.

So here are my choices.

1) I could keep the inspiring stuff over there and just wait for the readers to come. This choice would be good for those who a) think that’s the best option for the blog, or b) don’t like to be inspired.

2) I could incorporate that goosebump-initiating joy in with this blog where the readers already exist, and nix the other blog.

3) I could post the same articles in both places. At least for awhile until the numbers increase over there.

** I’d love for you to vote. But don’t vote until you’ve at least gone over there and taken a look at it. Then you can make an informed decision on what you think I should do.

  1. It’s called Frisson

Here’s a lot of good Frisson links on Reddit and the explanation.
    “What is Frisson?

Have you ever felt a sudden, passing sensation of excitement, a shudder of emotion from an epic moment of a song, or a climax of a movie? That is what is called “frisson”, a word rooted from the French word meaning “Goosebumps” or “Shiver”. It has been linked to rises in dopamine levels.

Frisson is a physical reaction, it’s not just about “that hit me right in the feels.” Unless you get a physical tingle/chills/goosebumps/shudder, it does not belong in this subreddit. Please consider /r/aww for happy submissions and /r/baww for sad submissions if they’re not frisson-inducing.”

There is also something called ASMR

Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is a physical sensation characterized by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp, and often moves down the spine and through the limbs.

Also known as : AIE (Attention induced euphoria), or simply “head tingles”.

This is sometimes referred to as head orgasms, but this is about as sexual as saying eating chocolate is orgasmic (in that it’s not sexual).

This physical phenomenon isn’t experienced by everyone. If you’ve never had it before, you most likely won’t feel it from the different triggers in this subreddit.

Those are called frisson and can be discussed in /r/frisson

Slow speech patterns, accents, soft-speaking voices and whispers.
    Lip sounds/smacking/eating
Clicking sounds, brushing sounds, white noise, etc.
    Instructional videos
Watching other people performing simple tasks
Getting close, personal attention from someone (eye-exam, make-over, etc.)
Haircuts, people playing with your hair
    Bob Ross.

That should give you some info and research direction. πŸ™‚
